I'm curious to see who here has a rotary, and what plugs you use. I've got a 3 rotor 2.6L TT and am using NGK Copper Plugs. They are awesome plugs - kind of expensive but, what pisses me off is I was told I need to replace them every 5000 kms. Now, for the last 2 years, I've been doing just that but, never questioned Magnus Auto's recommendation. Does anyone have any input on this subject?

I use the stock plugs and I also change them every 5k. I haven't heard of a plug for rotaries that can last longer.

Ya, I've called a few places. Particularly called Daryl at Ultimate Racing. He also says, he uses the copper plugs in his cars and he also uses the copper plugs. I asked him about Iridium plugs and if they were good for my set up and he said the copper ones give the best possible spark - perfect for the rotary set up I've got and also Magnus really knows what they talk about and to listen to them. Also said the Iridiums are known to having their tips fall off and damaging the rotor. I don't mind using the coppers and changing them every 5k but, installing them is a pain in the butt. LOL. Those of you with a rotary will understand what I'm talking about. Pure pain in the butt locations...damnit! HAHA. Anyone use the Iridiums?
