You think in the mechanical section we can have a sub-forum for Article threads?
I think it would help users that are looking for useful information. Instead of searching through threads, we can have a section that is dedicated to automotive articles. I'm going to keep on typing up articles, and instead of bumping them for new users, it would be best to put them where people can locate them alot easier.
Thoughts?

^It would just make it easier if it was its own subforum...faster to find cause its right in ur face, and then u could have all the articles grouped together so they aren't mixed in with other threads and stuff.

In some eyes, yes, and in some eyes, no.
When I see "DIY" I think of how to perform a certain task (ie. an oil change, intake change, etc). I meant more like a sub-forum for just information on say articles for doing engine swaps, part #s needed, full in-depth part list needed. A few force induction articles, N/A articles, etc. THose really aren't DIY's since it's soly information based.
But at the sametime, that section can hold articles that informs you. I guess it just depends on who's reading it.

I guess ill be the one to go against the grain here but what chris is suggesting seems to me to fit in the DIY forum. Or expand the DIY forum to; DIY/How to/Tech articles. Also the DIY forum wont be subject to cluter like the Engine, Mech forum
the Engine, Mech forum is more for asking questions, advice, and starting debates (cam x vs cam y...)
IMO the Engine, Mechanical, Performance, and Tuning forum should be broken into 4 forums; FI, NA, General tech, and Engine/Fuel managment
